Autonomy and Environment
Our abstract for a conference paper reflecting on an understanding of environment and the relationships this affords towards supporting a person's autonomy was accepted for the Association for Medical Humanities annual conference in Limerick. We are looking forward to writing up our final paper and to hear other papers critically exploring space in its broadest sense: "its metaphors, configuration and geographies."

Case Study for Arts + Health Ireland
We were chuffed to be invited to write a case study for Arts + Health Ireland's website offering news and resources for arts and health practitioners. In the case study we explain the aims, methods, artistic outputs, evaluation methodology and outcomes of the Tracing Autonomy project so far.
two artists meet a philosopher
We are two artists who work in The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. In September 2016 we began meeting regularly with philosopher Ben Colburn, thanks to an introduction from Catriona Forrest, then Public Engagement Officer with the Wellcome Trust-funded research project Global Interventions at the End of Life, University of Glasgow.

Autonomy, Holistic Assessment & Sensory Communication Tool, Training
The Art Team were asked to contribute a session on autonomy as part of a training session for clinical staff on the hospice’s new holistic assessment tools. These new tools support the hospice in developing its services with young adults.
